Scope of work: DesignFit was commissioned to design a contemporary façade solution for a prestigious project in Thames Quarter, Reading, UK. The project aimed to create a visually striking and durable façade that would enhance the building's overall aesthetic appeal and performance. To achieve this, DesignFit integrated Porcelanosa's premium tile, brick slip, and ACM panel solutions.

Design

Porcelanosa Tiles: High-quality porcelain tiles were selected for their durability, versatility, and aesthetic appeal. The tiles were used to create intricate patterns and designs, adding a unique touch to the façade.

Brick Slips: Authentic brick slips were used to achieve a traditional and timeless look. The slips were carefully selected to complement the overall design scheme and provide a warm and inviting feel.

ACM Panels: Lightweight and durable ACM panels were chosen for their versatility and ease of installation. These panels were used to create clean lines and modern accents, adding a contemporary touch to the façade.
Fabrication Drawings
Detailed fabrication and location drawings were created to ensure precise installation:
