Scope of work: DesignFit was commissioned to design a contemporary façade that would seamlessly blend with the city's rich architectural heritage. The project involved integrating Schüco's innovative façade systems and Petrarch Panels' exquisite finishes to create a visually stunning and high-performance building envelope.

Design and Materials Selection

• Schüco Curtain Wall System: A bespoke curtain wall system was designed to meet the specific requirements of the project, incorporating a combination of fixed and operable glazing.

• High-Performance Glass: Low-E glass with advanced coatings was selected to optimize thermal performance and reduce energy consumption.

• Aluminium Profiles: Durable and weather-resistant aluminum profiles were used to create a sleek and minimalist aesthetic.

• Petrarch Omnis Panels: These high-quality panels were used to create a visually striking and durable façade, complementing the modern design aesthetic.

• Custom-Made Aluminium Soffit Panels: These panels were designed to seamlessly integrate with the curtain wall and Petrarch panels, providing a cohesive and sophisticated look.

BIM Modeling with Revit 2017

To ensure accurate design and coordination, a detailed BIM model of the façade was created using Revit 2017. This model allowed for precise visualization, clash detection, and coordination with other building systems.
